Pass On Loans if Your Passion Doesn't Pay
Colleges and universities rarely hesitate to offer financial aid packages, but as we've said before, college loans for low-earning degrees should include warning labels. For example, fields such as arts, humanities, or social sciences can provide immense personal and societal value but often come with starting salaries that make monthly loan repayments hard.
Students often find themselves burdened with tens of thousands of dollars in debt, only to enter a job market offering limited opportunities or low-paying positions. They don't call actors starving artists for nothing.
Pursue your passion, just don't take loans to finance it.
